Ingredients/ Ingredientes:
– 2 cups shelled semi-salted pistachios/ 2 tazas de pistacho pelado
– 1/4 cup sugar/ 1/4 taza azúcar
– 2 tablespoons coconut oil/ 2 cads aceite de coco o comun
– 50 grs Butter (for sautéing)/ 50 grs manteca para saltear
– Kadayif (shredded phyllo dough) (masa filo en fideitos)
– Chocolate (for melting and coating)/ chocolate para deterrer y bañar
– Chopped pistachios (for decoration)/ pistachos picados

Instructions/ instrucciones:

1. In case you don’t find pistachio butter, lets Make it/ en caso que no consigan la crema de pistacho sigan leyendo:
– In a food processor, combine 2 cups of shelled semi-salted pistachios, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil/ en una procesadora, mezclar los pistachos, azúcar y aceite de coco.
– Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. Set aside/ procesar data obtener una pasta cremosa.

2. Prepare the Kadayif/ preparar el kadaif:
– In a skillet, melt some butter over medium heat/ en una sarten, derretir la manteca.
– Add the kadaif and sauté until it becomes crispy and golden brown/ agregar el kadaif y saltear hasta que quede apenas doradito.

3. Combine and Shape/ dar forma:
– Once the kadaif is crispy, mix it with the prepared pistachio butter until well incorporated/ mezclar el kadaif con la crema de pistacho.
– Shape the mixture into patties and place them on a tray with parchment paper, freeze for an hour./ dar forma con una cuchara, apoyar en una fuente con papel manteca. y congelar  por una hora.

4. Chocolate Coating/ baño de chocolate:
– Melt your chocolate using a double boiler or microwave/ derretir el chocolate a baño Maria.
– Once melted, dip each frozen patty into the chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated and place them on parchment paper/ una vez derretido, cubrir cada bolita y poner en papel manteca.

6. Decorate/ decorar:
– Immediately sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top of the chocolate-coated patties before the chocolate sets and freeze/ inmediatamente decorar con el pistacho picado y congelar.

NOTE:

you can replace kadaif with phyllo dough, chopped and proceed the same way.

NOTA: si no consiguen la masa kadaif, pueden suplantar con masa filo, picarla y proceder de la misma manera.

la idea es que tenga el relleno crocante.
